A curated jewelry edit for the September babe
Attention September babes, it’s your time to shine. In celebration of your birth month, we did a little digging to learn more about the second strongest and most durable gemstone that is your birthstone, the Sapphire.Falling only one place behind the mighty diamond in strength, sapphires are known to be the second strongest and durable throughout their wear time. The durability allows them to withstand scratching and gives them a score of 9 out of 10 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness (a little jewelry vocab for you)!Did you know that the word “sapphire” comes from the Latin word “sapphiru” which means “blue”? They are often associated with loyalty, dignity, and a highly coveted gemstone of royalty. Most popular in ancient Roman and Persian cultures there are many beliefs that are associated with this “royal” blue gem! In the Middle Ages, it was believed that sapphires held mystical powers. These powers would bestow upon the wearer powers of truth, innocence, and good health. Romans also believed that sapphires could cure eye diseases, so hold those sapphires close 👁️!From rainbow bands to nesting suites, we’ve curated a jewelry edit that encompasses the power of this small, natural wonder.
Fun fact: sapphires can come in almost every color of the rainbow! You can find them featured in our Hazeline Rainbow Pointe Band and Meridian Rainbow Band. Both feature dark blue, light blue, and yellow sapphires!
Sapphires + Nesting Bands = a match made in heaven! Pictured above (L to R): Pear Celestine Band, Bea Stardust Studs, and Nesting Suite No. 02.
In the spirit of celebrating the strength of our favorite gemstones, we give you our Hazeline Suite No. 07. Empower your inner strength with the beauty of this Suite!
