July's Birthstone Ruby
JULY 1, 2021
A curated jewelry edit for the July babe
Summer is in full swing and you know what that means? That’s right July babes, it’s your time to shine. In celebration of your birth month, we did a little digging (literally) to learn more about the mystic gemstone that is your birthstone, Ruby.Did you know that the Sanskrit name for ruby is “Ratnaraj” which means “king of the gems”? This is true as rubies measure at a 9 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness, second to diamond and tied with sapphire. Rubies can come in a variety of shades and sizes. They can range from rich, dark red to light pink.💕Rubies were once believed to have mystical powers and were cherished greatly by royals and aristocrats. Today they are still believed to have many beneficial qualities for the wearer! Many believe that when worn rubies promote strong health and loving and nurturing qualities. They also help improve your energy throughout the day as well as your concentration. Lastly, but possibly the best quality, rubies encourage the removal of negative energies from both your body and daily path. So wear those rubies proudly, and feel your positivity soar!🌟From Tiara Bands to Stud Earrings we’ve curated a jewelry edit that encompasses the power of these small, natural wonders.
These Pave Pointe Stud Earrings, seen here in medium, feature rubies graduating in size from 1.4 to 2.2mm. The studs are available in 14k recycled rose, yellow, or white gold.
Our Bea East/West Solitaire Ring highlights a 7x5mm emerald cut ruby. This ring can be made in 14k recycled rose, yellow, or white gold. If you are looking for nesting options for this ring try our Tiara Band collection. Hint: these bands also come in ruby!😉
